Berrien Towne and Country Quilt Guild

Anyone with an itch to stitch will find useful information here.

Come visit our guild.  We are located in Berrien County, the extreme southwest corner of Michigan, approximately 16 miles from the Indiana border and 1.5 hours from Chicago.  We meet on the second Thursday of each month from February through November at 6:30pm for social hour with the regular meeting beginning at 7pm.  See the Maps link for directions.

Better yet, JOIN our guild!  A love of quilting is our one “requirement.”  Download our membership form here!  MembershipForm.pdf

October Meeting

Happy 25th Anniversary!
BT&C Quilt Guild’s Purpose: To promote the appreciation and knowledge of fine quilts. Sponsor and support quilting activities. Encourage quilt making and collecting. Contribute to the growth of knowledge of quilting, techniques, textiles, patterns, history and quilt makers by providing educational meetings, travel and fellowship.

Twenty-five short years ago a few ladies had a vision. That vision has grown into a guild of 170+ members we can all be proud of.

The guild has given of their time and talents too many organizations through the years providing quilts to wrap the less fortunate in warmth and love. Many talented speakers and leaders have taught us new techniques and shared their talents. We have dined together, shopped together, laughed and cried together. We have celebrated births and mourned the loss of fellow quilters. We have surprised each other with secret pals and shared thousands (yes, thousands) of projects in our well known show-n-tell and quilt shows.

Looking through the many binders of history it is clear we are founded on a strong love of quilting, fellowship and giving. Our guild has been generous in sharing their talents.

Come celebrate 25 years of memories and highlights of how we continually fulfill our purpose. And by the way, thanks for the memories!
Fall Retreat - Yes! There’s a fall retreat on Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25 at the Park Inn, Stevensville. Times will run from 9am to 5pm. Lunch and beverages are included in the $12.50 (daily) price. You must be registered and pay by October 9! It’s been suggested that those attending might want to make quilts for the Well of Grace House. Money donations are welcome so that they can buy fabric from Loving Stitches at a reduced rate. Six patterns have been selected for sewing. Fall Retreat Registration Form.pdf

We’ve been issued a CHALLENGE! Use at least 25 charm squares to create a quilt and show it at the October guild meeting for your chance to enter a drawing! This is your LAST CHANCE! For details, click here: Challenge 1.pdf
